Dr. Dhruv Patel was born and raised in Northern California and received his Bachelor of Science Cum Laude in biology from University of California, Los Angeles. He then received his Masters in Global Medicine from University of Southern California prior to starting medical school at Drexel University College of Medicine, where he finished as a humanities scholar and a recipient of the Gold Humanism award.
He returned to California and completed his residency at University of California, Davis before finishing his training as chief gastroenterology fellow at St. Luke’s University Health Network.
In his free time, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and dog. He also enjoys gardening, cooking, playing sports, and supporting his hometown Bay Area sports teams.
Dr. Patel is passionate about helping patients receive individualized and specialized care to maintain optimal digestive health.
